The annual collaboration between American fashion imprint J. Crew, and Boston-based footwear company New Balance, continues this summer 2015 with the introduction of the J. Crew x new balance sneakers
Dubbed “Hilltop Blues,” the popular runner is essentially inspired by the neighborhood ballparks of New York City. Incorporating an earthy tone of Beige and Brown across its suede and mesh upper, a Navy-colored suede panel overlay across the vamp complements the seasonal palette, while additional pops of Red on the quarter panel, top eyelets, heel tab and frontal portion of its midsole further pronounce its overall makeup.

All resting atop an Off-White sole unit that’s adhered to a Navy/Red outsole component to coordinate with its respective theme, the J. Crew x new balance femme pas cher “Hilltop Blues” is expected to drop at select New Balance accounts starting June 15th.

As its title suggests, the runner is dipped in a tonal hue of Olive across its plush suede upper, while contrasting Tan leather accents are applied on the toe box, N logo, collar and heel tab to further pronounce its earthy makeup. Additional TPU components are found on the quarter panel and heel counter in Green and Brown, as the entire composition rests atop a comfortable ENCAP midsole unit.
All adhered to a Grey-colored outsole, you can find this newest variation of the new balance 996 at New Balance retailers now.
