I just watched VOD over at twitch and it gave me a decent impression on the game. The graphics are amazing along with the well made character creation to Buy Riders of Icarus Gold. Game as an interesting lore and theme uniquely focused on mounts.
But I can't help but to think about how generic this game is as an "MMORPG". Basically fits into the good ol' "WoW clone" category. It is just another derived game.
Can anyone well me this game otherwise? A run down on the cashshop? p2w? Is it WoW clone worth putting time into it? I am not completely against Nexon games. More 50/50 on them.
Last I checked the premium status literally gives you bonus stats like 200 health, 10% more health, 10% to your defense stats and like -10% CD to abilities. On top of the fact the games main feature is pet gathering and lvling... so the cash shop is all about it. People will argue they aren't selling power to your character but you can bet your ass they will sell pet power (they sell character power too as I've already stated anyways).
There's a slight misconception Icarus Gold, the Talismans that gives you the extra defence and -10% cd and so on, are the biggerst Founders pack only. They last for 60 days, they aren't a part of the Premium.
Though I don't know if you can buy those in the game. I know those Talismans aren't available in the Private server.
Immediately we're greeted with spammers that can't be reported (based on the zone they're in). And Nexon, in their infinite wisdom.. Implemented a "Megaphone" item you can purchase. This item allows what is essentially a tweet to everyone in the game. It's limited in characters (I think 40 characters?), but allows URLs, all caps, etc.
This game launched into a complete shitshow. Can't ignore the spammers, literally. I had trouble just seeing my Cheap Riders of Icarus Gold! More importantly, how can a dev be so blatantly uncaring about the playerbase that they won't ban players who are spamming GLOBALLY?
