that's pretty cool.. so it's a permanent effect? you can squeegee the mirror and it will keep working?

The image is COMPLETELY invisible to the naked eye prior to "activating" it.
If the mirror is slightly cooled and then breathed upon, the image becomes apparent for a few moments, usually for about 15 seconds, depending on the temperature of the room, the glass and the breath. Placing the mirror in a bathroom will also cause a manifestation when the shower steams the room up. By either of these methods, the mirror can be used again and again.
An alternate method involves lighting a piece of magician's "flash paper", idealy covered in arcane sigils and glyphs, that is placed over the mirror's surface. The image is slightly more permanent via this method, and can be passed around for examination. The image can then later be removed using a "windex" type glass cleaner. The drawback to this method is that it can only be used 4-5 times, typically, before the image is denigrated.
