Definitely a newbie question.

For days now I've been trying to get a locker at Miskatonic university, but I don't know how to get the key...


The Rugby Player that has the key to the locker doesn't respond. And I have no idea of finding out (or getting) what he wants for it.

Suggestions are welcome!

Did he talk to you about something? (it should have)
Most non-player characters will continue talking if you ask them about some "key" word they used in one of their last sentences.

If he didn't talk to you, then try looking at him - he's different from the other players. Ask him about it

That indeed did the trick!
Why didn't I think about that before...

It's like in all RPGs - players can do what the storyteller/master/keeper thought it's the most obvious thing, but only after long, long peregrinations into the Unlikely and some proud journeys into the Impossible.

Being yithian, I automagickally had a locker. But I believe I saw the quest. the rugby player in the room of the lockers is missing an accessory of him; an easily findable one. If you take it back to him, I'm sure he'll reward you a key.
