The teaser trailer for the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society's upcoming adaptation of The Call of Cthulhu is now online. This is the same trailer that played to rave reviews at last weekends Lovecraft Film Festival. The footage is amazing and will raise the bar for all Lovecraft adaptations that follow it. The film will be completed some time in the spring of 2005, and will play in it's entirety at next years festival.

Check it out here: http://www.cthulhulives.org/CoC/trailer.html

(Thanks to Sean Branney)

Best of the Fest . . .

I have to say that the trailer for 'Call of Cthulhu' was the best thing I got to watch at this past Lovecraft Film Festival . . . It caught the atmosphere and mood of the silent film era as well as the Lovecraftian themes, and I can't wait to see this one at next year's festival!

Welcome Derek!

Thanks for stopping by...

Just received an update from Sean Branney in regards to CoC. They only have two additional scenes to shoot next week, and then they'll construct the 3D R'lyeh set and the Alert Wheelhouse set. Once that footage is shot (which they hope to finish by early November), they will move onto the models and miniatures...

Ziggurat, The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society will be releasing it on DVD sometime next year.

Exciting stuff!

Take care,

Craig
