Oz season 1-6 set

This is a crazy modern family - well-off enough to make the viewing interesting but down-to-earth to make the viewer share at least some of the problems. Not another Dynasty by any Frasier 1-11 series season chance. The list of characters (and the cast which is superb!) offers an impressive array of human types - a working mom, a right-wing TV/radio journalist, a gay lawyer, a vineyard owner, a Afghanistan/Iraq veteran plus an even more varied group of people they love, hate, quarrel with etc. The show can get cheesy at times but only within the range of human experience, and it's very funny most of the time. The acting is top class (does the name of Sally Fields rings any bell? Once the mother of Forrest Gump now she is the mother of - almost - all Walkers) and the casting absolutely perfect. Plus guest stars - but I won't reveal any details. Ladies and gentlemen - if you haven't met the Walkers, it's high Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles dvd season time you did. And if you already met them, there is an unaired episode of the first series added as a bonus! And three more seasons... And the fifth one should start airing in the Fall of 2010 
I am a huge fan of the 90's show "thirtysomething" and didn't realize, until Star Trek Deep Space Nine dvd sales two weeks ago, both Patricia Wttig and Ken Olin were a part of this order Cold Case show. Once I did, I got this DVD set and started watching! What an amazing show! I spent the last week watching one episode after another not wanting to leave these characters and wanting to see what happens next. Sally Field is wonderful as Nora! And, who doesn't like see Macgyver season 1-7 Rob Lowe on screen? The women on this show really shine. I have to admit, I'm not a total fan of the actors who play Kevin and Tommy, but they are given great storylines.My only slight criticism is that, at times, the writing does seem weak. But then it comes on so strong. I found myself crying at the loss of the baby and when Justin left for Iraq.I will never miss an episode of this show again. Its a good show, I had Gossip Girl 1-3 series never seen the first season, so it was pretty good a little different than I expected based on seeing the second season but it was good 
Highly Recommended Excellent - got me hooked on the series. Have since ordered season 2 and three. The first few episodes, i was hooked, and still am. A great show for me has a realistic storyline I can relate to and at the same time is Sex and the City complete series 1-6 enticing to watch. This show initially reminded me of the Cosbys, don't think there's been one to Veronica Mars series dvd collection match it since then. Who doesn't Eureka 1-4 box set series love and hate their family at the same time. I figured this was a show about an average family, with everyday issues and they got through it together. Wrong. Overrated things happened one after the other...father dies, mistress Star Trek Deep Space Nine complete 1-7 boxset appears, with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia box set collection daughter in tow, company is bankrupt, then finds 30 million dollar property, divorce, and so on... not a regular family, individual issues yes, but collectively one family, all these issues - no wonder tears were overdone. The touch of great drama is knowing characters love each other without having to say it. I think it is said in every episode... good try though, especially with all the reality junk on TV these days. Brilliant actors, just wish the storylines did not try so hard, they just missed the mark and made it too mushy...will keep watching, here's hoping.... Loved the series. Only problem is that 2 of the episodes had the actors voices overdubbing the entire episode; most irritating. I feel I was shorted 2 episodes. a great serie that I wanted to share with my mother. It arrived at the scheduled time and she very much enjoyed it. I love this show. It is unusual in that both the writing and the acting are great. It surprises me that its popularity hasn't spurred a dvd release of thirtysomething. To me the shows have a similar Oz season 1-6 set feel (as well as having Ken Olin and Patricia Wettig in common) and I think a lot of people are waiting for the 30something release. I just love to hate Patricia Wettig - what a great actress! I hope Timothy Busfield joins the cast since Studio 60 was canceled. I love this serie, BROTHERS & SISTERS, and I think is more fun to watch it all together. You have a better perspective of the story. I am waiting anxious to buy the second season. Enjoy it. This show is great entertainment. From the story, all the way to the fantastic cast! I absolutely love these series, they are funny and interesting! It is nice to see a crazier family then my own !
