The show doesn't seem to have a clear direction; whether to be profound or over-the-top like Everybody Loves Raymond boxset DYNASTY. It might be better - unless you're in love with one of the Burn Notice box set collection 1-3 characters/actors - to consider skipping the boxed set in favor of individual episodes to add to your collection. At this point, the box set isn't released, so I have no idea what the extras will be on the box set, if any. A co-worker and very good friend tried to Curb Your Enthusiasm complete dvd collection convince me to watch this series when it first came out but I told her it conflicted with another series that I was already "hooked" on. Needless to say, she convinced me to buy the first season and I can honestly say I couldn't wait to purchase season 2!!!! This is the greatest TV series I think I have ever had the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy as it is just like family to me!! I love this show! so much that I bought purchase Macgyver 1-7 set all 3 seasons to watch before this weekes premeire! I even got them a few days before my ETA. I will however say that I was NOT pleased on how damaged the 1st season box was. Brothers & Sisters is truly one of the finest dramas currently on network television. The show's writers embrace current and highly pertinent issues in modern day North America, and work them into the story line of each Heroes seasons 1-4 dvd episode beautifully.The cast of actors is one of the most talented we have seen to date- Sally DeadWood 1-3 seasons boxset Field, Rachel Griffiths, Calista Flockhart, Rob Castle 1-2 box set dvd Lowe, Ron Rifkin, and Emily Vancamp are standouts among them all. Field's role as the matriarch of the family is particularly stunning, and her brilliant ability is even further explored in the second season as she is forced Everybody Loves Raymond season series 1-9 to make Cold Case boxset dvd 1-7 tough decisions about her life, and is faced with further conflict created by her family. Griffiths provides another extremely compelling performance as Sarah Walker, who is forced to deal with her crumbling marriage.Throughout the second season, the storylines become more complicated and the Walker family is thrown into a tangled web of turmoil and deception. I would highly recommend this DVD if you enjoyed the first season- it only gets better! Brothers and Sisters have some of the best and some of the worst in the show. They all scattered throughout the whole series making it a very unbalance show. However, ABC managed to pull through it with a safety net for the first season, but then they will really need to fix up a lot of flaws before they air it again.First of all, you have Sally Field, Matthew Rhys, Rachel Griffiths and Patricia Wettig, so it is a cast that you really look forward to. Calister Flockhart...hm...well...she is just Ally in Kitty disguise, though she has some of the best characterisation written for her. But her circus of relationship just didn't work. Rachel The Closer complete dvd 1-5 Griffiths is still great but under utilised. After 5 whole seasons of Six Feet Under, I don't think people who love her performance will be settled for this. Her marriage coverage is not really in depth and thus all her family drama became very trivial as compared to the big picture. Sally Field is funny and annoying at the same time but that's how well she did her work. Matthew Rhys is great and well done though his relationship with Jason Lewis is a bit disappointing, as you thought they will have a bigger coverage. But Matthew Rhys is just funny and interesting to watch. Patricia Wettig...well not as good as I thought but still watchable. The problem is with this bunch of great actors, you really need other good actors to support them. Why is it that the people who are playing Justin and Tommy were chosen to be in the show is a mystery. They are so bad as compared Monk series 1-8 to the rest of the cast. Wooden acting and bad story lines. The so called drama just keeps you on the nerve. And their characters are just boring. They will be two major problem that could kill the show in the following season because you just can't think of anything interesting to be written for actors who can't really act. Boring actors for boring characters mean switching channels. Storywise, they have good episodes and bad episodes. So when you watch the show you just feel like you a strolling through a rocky outback bush area.
