That's my guess.

I do believe that, barring complex agglutinative chemical or medical names and the like, antitransubstantiationalism is the longest recognised word in the English language.

They're tied. Look at the letter count. I checked myself one day, I think it's 27 each. Too lazy to do it again, though.

I think we actually had a post on the longest word here once before But here is some new info:

We do have genuine (if rather obviously deliberate) examples in our files of antidisestablishmentarianism (28 letters) and floccinaucinihilipilification (29 letters), which are listed in some of our larger dictionaries. Other words (mainly technical ones) recorded in the complete Oxford English Dictionary include:

I have a book called Schott's Miscellany. Wonderful book. It makes mention of a 1300+ letter medical term, which refers to a lung disease caused by the inhalation of silica dust. It wins.
