I thought the same thing. Ok so the one by Steven Hickman is very nice and detailed. I even considered placing a bid for it. But then I thought, with the right materials I could make my own... I'm creative and have lot's of patience for those kind of things. Plus I hate e-bay, people always seem to have friends bidding on items at the last second and you could end up bidding twice as much as you originally did.

Good point.

I don't think I could ever make one as good as that one. Next time I try one I think I am going to get some light wood and try to carve it.. easier to mess up things, but also easier to get detail.

There was one site with a 5 or 6 foot tall Cthulhu statue somewhere a while back.. I will try to find a link. Would be interesting to have in your yard :P

In Sweden they have little red wooden horses and there's a statue like that 10 meters tall in a town square somewhere there. It would be nice to erect a huge metallic Cthulhu statue in the middle of Times Square.
