Greets/Cthulhu:Dark corners of earth
Greetings children of Dagon,
I am a new member, of this forum and having read a few posts i must say you have done an excellent work. Keep it up up up! The thing is i would like to ask if anyone has ever played on xbox (pc version from 6/3/05 i think ) Cthulhu:Dark corners of earth. Its based on the renowned story and has already got fine reviews.

Despite my ghoulish reputation, i really have the heart of a small boy. I keep it in a jar on my desk...!

Thanks for the link, though I am already well aware of that post.
I will stand by my (perhaps naife) hope that it will be released in Feb. I am feeling a bit high and dry as far as Lovecraftian gaming goes. Old text adventures like Anchorhead, along with Doom, Quake, and Undying keep me afloat for now. Pity that Undying had to be developed on such a crap engine (unreal2). One important (nay, vital) aspect of a good horror game in my book is simply a unique art style that portrays things in a highly effective method.
Adrian Carmack brought his own artistic flavor to the iD games that accounts (at least, to me) for a large portion of the games success. Things will definitely be different from now on without him.

Xbox is a computer. It is evil in an evil way. It's for n00bs and Microsoft is the extension of the Third Reich philosophy.
Play Tetris. That's what Lovecraft would play.

The 360 definitely rocks. And oddly enough, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is one of the games that works as a backwards compatible title on it! I just ordered my copy Friday, so hopefully it'll be in soon.
Any of you on Xbox Live by the way? If so my gamertag is pzykotikjp
Also, there were two more Call of Cthulhu games announced... though I do not know if they are still coming out.
They were:
Beyond the Mountains of Madness
Destiny's End
And... apparently there's a Call of Cthulhu: Shadow of the Comet on PC as well. Though I had never heard of it as I don't do my gaming on PCs.
