Certain parts are really cliche and disappointing. When those storylines come up you just feel like "come on, can we have something else?" I think Sally Fields' storyline was great. Rachel Griffith's storyline was great in the first half. Matthew Rhys' storyline was great in the second half. But then you can't think of other memorable storylines at all. But the good thing is most of the funny parts are funny and the whole passive aggressiveness in the family are just like Queer as Folk seasons collection wonders. It really makes you feel what would you do if you are stuck in those situation with them.Overall speaking. Season One is above average but there are a lot to fix if ABC wants season two to be great too. And I think most audience will expect a much better Season Two before they switch off the TV or change channel. I missed most of Season One when it aired, so I bought the Season One and Season Two DVDs. I could not stop watching! I LOVE this show and Season Two is just as engaging as the first season. The characters are well-developed and the storylines are realistic. Sally Field is absolutely outstanding! A must-watch! Wow. What a bore. With a huge cast of fantastic actors, this family-values series is wooden and ho-hum. The "mysteries" are cliches (the father who buy Macgyver 1-7 dvd had a 'secret' affair; the family business is a 'secret' financial disaster about to unravel; the weak, tragic post-war son (completely unconvincing, going from party boy to depressed, neurotic brat in seconds) is a disaster waiting to happen; the mother 'secret'-ly knew about the affair). For one thing, Calista, Rachel, Patricia and Sally all look the same age (thanks the miracles of Botox and liposuction). And ALL the male characters actually DO look exactly the same, except for Rachel's cutely-disheveled husband. Yawn. And what's with the gay lawyer son? He has two facial expressions. Since Sally, Patricia, Calista and Rachel are talented, it must be the writing. There is absolutely no WIT here. It's purchase all seasons of Macgyver dvds as dull and dour as a dramedy can get. At the end of each episode I wanted to jump up and should "TA-DAH!" just to wake myself up. Actually, I fell asleep at the beginning of Episode 3 of the first season. Maybe it does "get Smallville seasons boxset 1-9 better" as one critic has noted, but I just don't have the Star Trek Voyager boxset 1-7 dvd time to waste my life wading through c--p to get to the "good part." Pardon me while I run out and drop this predictable piece of plastic in the Blockbuster bin. Ugh. Thank heaven for "Boston Legal." Allan Shore. (Equals amusing, charming and mentally Nikita complete 1-5 collection stimulating.) The second season of Brothers & Sisters offers the same elements that were present in its first, only better. After this second season, I quickly realised that I'm completely in love with these characters and their storylines. Anyone who's close to their siblings will find many similarities in the plot of this show.The show continues where the last season left off. Kitty is still with the Senator and he is still trying Sons of Anarchy collection 1-2 set to take his seat at the head of his party. Sara's marriage is still in trouble. Justin is still at war and will become more troubled than before. Kevin is still looking for love and hiding his aloneness with cynicism. And Norah... well she's still the matriarch with so much goodness she causes more harm than good. The family business is in trouble, and Rome seasons on sale many of their relationships as well. These characters are going through real situations that I found Merlin box set complete myself indentifying with. There Arrested Development dvd complete season are many gripping moments in this series that just brings you closer to these characters because they often reflect our own. Sure, the show is about a rich Californian family that seems to have Grey's Anatomy seasons 1-6 box set all purchase Queer as Folk complete set that they want. But the characters are never overzealous, which makes them real.What I find amazing about this show is the dialogue. When the entire family is together, the dance that takes place back and forth between these characters is so realistic that it sends shivers down my spine. The performances are all strong, even more in this second season. The actors are truly empersonating their characters and they seem much more at ease with one another.Brothers & Sisters is a real gem.
