Does anyone here play Cthulhu Nation? It's a pretty good Lovecraftian MMORPG, and it provided my introduction to Lovecraft Online. Here's a registration link, if anyone is interested:

It used to be free, but then one of the staff died of cancer and the other one went a little crazy about not bein gable to pay for the server.

There are 1,000 people with accounts. there are only about 100 paying players. Basically, they have to charge because even with the amount they charge, they only break even on server fees.

Many of this game's players think it is the world's best MMORPG, and I would not be so quick to dismiss it. It has a unique take on graphics and a superb series of quests. the Mythos theme, though, is definitely the strongest draw. It took me two years to find CthulhuMUD, and only half a year to find Cthulhu Nation.

Incidentally, what are these better free MMORPGS?

best damn mmorpg ive ever played. its called kingdom of loathing.... amazingly awesome game graphics, undecrible attack graphics, etc. just an over all amazing game.

oh i forgot to mention..... ITS COMPLETLY FREE, with over 1,040 on right this sec. theres over 5,000 different players on within every 4days. this is a real mmorpg unlike the game this topic is for.
