I am pleased to announce I have Dirty Black Winter live and ready for sale. This was almost a year in the making. It was concieved to be the home of the novella When Angels Wept Blood, the centerpiece of the book then it's got a few other longer ones now. Some lost material and others previously uncollected. There is a new dark creative nonfiction work called Revisiting The Loss Of Blood.

Those might been asking about my having to be in bed back in november of 2006, I wrote Chronic Disease right around that time. I was on the recliner at the apartment covered up to my shoulders with my arms free to type with the banket wrapped around me because it was cold in the back bedroom where I slept at times, but my sick room was in the living room.

This book is has the dark elements of the first three books but this one has the nasty aspects of An Eye In Shadows -- this one is relatively nasty when it gets to some of the stories. The ones that will cause the most controversy have to be the new version of The Fandom Writer, FUCKBEATER, SHITSTORM, I.O.W.A. Inquisition Revisited, The Room Mate, of the stories in there The Room Mate is the funniest one foir me. Chronic Disease is me at my most vunerable because of the period I wrote this. I wrote this story within two hours then went back to bed.

The chapbook has the other story that came about that was what Chronic Disease became -- the photograph on the TOC goes with both The Pattern of Diagnosis and Chronic Disease because the item I photographed myself in was the very thing that I was packed in when I was wheeled off to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.
