Blade & Soul: don't worry the RNG box event is pretty ba

Post by blade-soul »

Don't worry the RNG box event is pretty bad and you would be much better of if you're selling Ncoins thru currency exchange with Blade & Soul Gold. Even the boxes are similar to the ones they had in TW the rates are like 10x worse and from 100 boxes I got no single 100 frozen stinger/moonstones pack.

Why do they release boxes which are meant to make mats more accessible when they are heavily nerfed and won't give you close as much mats as the ones in the TW version gave you back then... I don't get it.

Because RNG boxes that have be paid for in some format is probably the highest money maker for a good number of MMO games. The reason behind this is that they put something really good in the box to attract people into buying some. As a company, they want the player to have the mindset of "oh I'll get it in a few more boxes if I buy a few more Cheap BNS Gold", as a gambling impulse. Common sense and evidence shows that getting the high items is rare, yet many still fall into the trap of thinking they'll get the top item(s).

The thing i'm not understanding in particular is that TW RNG boxes which contained pretty much the exact same mats etc. had a much bigger chance to get you good/more things than our rng boxes.

This plus the fact that jonathan mentioned this rng boxes are there to stabilize the market (which I would completely agree with him) made me believe that you actually get some 100 (or at least 1 100 stack) for 100€ but in the end most people end up getting nothing but crap and they would be much better off buying BNS Gold from the currency exchange.
